weekend update
I met some really cool people from the World Teach Program. Some of them surf too! If anyone wants to live in American Samoa for a year check this out:

It seems like a great program. If you want to come here in July for a year you should apply by this April. I have a room for you. :)
Because of the rain on Sunday the temperature dropped to 80.1. I for once stopped sweating and was able to enjoy a rainy Sunday of movies and books. I'm feeling a bit more sane now. The first two weeks were a whirlwind of work and heat. I have figured out the buses have some camping chairs to sit in. I'm just waiting to be able to get to the store for hammock hooks. Then I'll be living the life for sure!
Okay time to plot some jurisdiction boundaries and create land-use data. Whooo hooo!
On the communication front I am planning on getting a house phone, since my cell phone is a bit shotty in my little oasis of a cove. Apparently like internet this could take up to a month to hook up!

Great to hear more from you! Interesting...all your news. I know I could not tolerate the heat. You sound good. Happy to hear you will have some cool surfing buddies. The rain and the wind arrived today. I was up in your work neighborhood today....tried the World Gym out. I HAVE to do some exercise. It went well and I liked that it was very clean. Keep in touch. Ed's son Ben...remember him...the Jesus look alike...was on the telethon for Haiti on TV Friday night playing with Wyclef Jean. It was awesome and he was with so many awesome artists. We all watched him on TV. I will write again soon. Keep the faith.
